Rohan took us on a journey through his musical evolution playing songs from his very first band Chemistry to his Blues trio Those Old Soles and of course his current touring band The Floating Bridges. We had a full house for my art launch and Rohy’s solo performance, it was a cosy evening of passionate music, art, food and wine appreciation..

June 1st I launched my exhibition at Cafe Envy Mooloolaba with good friend Rohan Nitschke playing solo and acoustic. Exhibition runs till the end of June at Mooloolaba then I have a four week showing at Cafe Envy Cotton Tree.

..and a secret warehouse event is where I’ll be on Saturday night. Painting a wall hopefully - with over 100 other artists, photographers, models, body artists, filming, projections, live music, the works. Inspired by Andy Warhol’s factory; this is a zero budget artist for artist event. It’ll be like five Christmas’s come at once.

..this is the event I’ll be painting live at in Bris this Friday night. (click-through link on pic to event deets) These invitations to paint and collaborate on Art Projects with kids in the Big Smoke has been a very pleasant surprise!

This is piece my created on the day. Painted in a record 2 hours. I was in a nice flow. I named her ‘The Lady and The Fox’, she was donated to charity fundraiser for The Drug Arm. A charity that helps to educate people about the nastiness of drug and alcohol abuse, and lend a helping ‘arm’ to those adversely affected by it.

..had my first live art paint with Brisbane creative cats on the weekend. An awesome Sunday Sesh on The Fox Hotel Roof Top Bar.
